Aha!  I was in Baldwin and Freeport, and a DIL grew up in Levittown.  Loved the Chines food at Fortune Wheel (Garden?) in the Nassau Mall.  Small world.   Arline

I just got my copy of Executive Privilege and cannot wait to start. The first thing I came across, of course, was the sad, sad notification that your wife has passed away. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Dear Mr. Margolin,

I'm only a humble reader but am truly sorry for the loss of your best friend and hero, Doreen.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed your lifelike characters in Brad, Dana, and Keith.  I've wanted to write most of my life but I'm still a corporate slave.  Maybe someday...

A nitpic: on page 100, it said that Charlotte Walsh lived on the "fourth floor of an eight-story building" but on page 101, the security guard said she lived in apartment "seven-oh-nine" and on page 102, it stated that "Evans briefed Sparks in the elevator ride to the seventh floor..."  Okay, I'm a perfectionist (my wifes says, "a nut").

We will continue to follow your great stories.

Best regards.

p.s. I'm new to your site and hope this message works.

Dear Levelpaths: Thanks for pointing out the typo and thank you for the kind words about Doreen. If you want to write, write. I never thought I'd ever get anything published, but I liked writing so I did it on the weekends for fun and got lucky. You'll never know if you don't try. Phil

Dear houstontexas: I'm glad you enjoyed "Executive Privilege" and I'm sorry you've had to go through what I have. I hope you're getting better emotionally. Phil
