Dear Hasan: I hope you enjoy "After Dark." Michael Connelly is very good. "The Concrete Blonde" is my favorite of his books. I know Mike and we were on the Board of the Mystery Writers of America. He's a good writer and a very nice guy. Phil

Phil, I've read every one of your books and the other day picked up a copy of After Dark which I hoped was one I had missed, but enjoyed reading again anyway.  One question-what happened with Tracy and Barry after Matthew Renolds went to jail for manslaughter.  Did Matthew resume his law practice after his release?

Your characters are so intriguing and believeable that readers want to know what happens after "The End".

Thanks.

Dear dsw: I don't have any immediate plans to bring back the characters from "After Dark," but I've thought about it. Matthew reynolds is one of my favorite characters. Phil
