I am just wondering if anyone is a fan of hers and what Mr. Margolin thinks? I love her books, mainly crime mixed with love. Everynow and then I see that Margolin's books are mixed with some love. Just wondering if anyone is reading anything of hers or has any other suggestion of similar authors.

Thanks!

I'm a fan of Tami Hoag's and have read eight of her novels so far. She is fantastic. Another author I recommend is Lisa Gardner, who develops good characters and plots, and occasionally uses romance. Karin Slaughter, as well.

I haven't read any of these authors yet, but I'll add them to my list. I recommend another Lisa - Lisa Scottoline. I noticed that she is quoted on the jacket of "Proof Positive", with some great words about Phil. I have read books by 11 different lawyer/authors in the past 3 1/2 years, and I'd have to say that Lisa Scottoline and Phillip Margolin are two of the best in the category of fast-paced page-turning inspiration.

I have to agree. Lisa Scottoline is awesome. In fact today, I'll be getting her latest book, Daddy's Girl. Lisa Gardner used to be some kind of business executive before turning to writing novels full time, so she's not a former lawyer.

And yes, bring me more Phil Margolin anytime! Lost Lake was awesome!
