Hello, I just wanted to let Phillip know, which I am sure he already does know, that I loved his book Sleeping Beauty. He is an excellent writer. Within the first four pages, I almost started crying! Keep up the work! |

Dear Phil, I must agree with Faitfulness06, Sleeping Beauty was very thrilling. I would have to say your best Novel yet, and I love all of them that i have read. I'm a huge fan, and I have gotten my mother and sister addicted to your books as well. They both have just finished "Gone But Not Forgotten" and can't wait to read more. I have a few questions, I have read Wild Justic, Last innocent man, Sleeping Beauty and Gone But not forgotten. Could you recommend a book i should read next? I was also wondering if all of your novels were "Suspence Thrillers?" Just a question my mother wanted me to ask. ( have to love parents) Well I think that I will congratulate you again on another well written book, and thankyou again for writting material worth reading. Big Fan Shane Caudill |

Shane, I just thought that I would let you know that Lost Lake was an excellent book so you might want to give it a try. Also, Ties that bind would be a good book to read since you have read Wild Justice. Just thought I would offer my opinion. Phillips huge fan |

| Dear Shane: I agree with hugefan's recommendations. I liked Amanda and Frank Jaffe in "Wild Justice" so much that I brough them back in "Ties That Bind." They are also featured in my next book, which will be out mid-year 2006. Amanda Jaffe also has a cameo role in "The Associate" which introduces her investigator, Kate Ross. "Lost Lake" is a change of pace from most of my books. It's not a whodunnit but a "did anything happen at all." It's very different from my other books and I've gotten good feedback on it. Phil |

Dear Phil,
What I'm about to write has nothing to do with any of your novels, because I have not read another for awhile. I have been busy trying to write a book of my own, and was wondering if you could give me any pointers. I just have a few questions, could you give me any suggestions on publishing? And one more thing, i'm having a lil difficulty with the conversations between people. I have a problem with putting a charactors name after what they say, and giving some kind of discription as in facial expression or something, and when someone will reply, i'll put their name after whatever it is that they say. It just doesn't seem right to me to do it that way. ok here is an example so that you can see what im talking about, if you don't understand. "What exactly do you mean?" Tamie asked, while looking at John with a puzzled look. "I was wondering if you ran over a body, that was clearly already dead before you hit him, and left the scence if it would still be considered hit and run?" He replied. Ok thats a bad example, because that doesn't seem to sound all that bad. But if you understand what i was trying to say, i would highly appriciate it if you would attempt to give me some advice.
Thank you,
Shane |

| Dear Vincent: "Wild Justice" was optioned for a film , but the producer dropped the option. At this time, there are no plans to have either book made into a film. Phil |

| That's too bad about the movie option--for my husband. He doesn't like to read, nor does he have much time. When I finish a book he gets very interested in having me tell him about it, and always follows it with "I wish that was a movie". He even says this after I have re-described a book I have re-read. |

| Dear computerchic: It's normal for books to be optioned but not made. My latest problem is that "Gone But Not Forgotten" was made into a TV mini-series with Brooke Shields. It's pretty good but Hallmark - which owns the rights - appears to be releasing it overseas, but not in the states. It will come out on DVD in December, so your husband can see it if you rent it.
