1. RE:1st book Ive read by Margolin...HOOKED! Posted 8/27/2009
I'm cruising through The Undertaker's Widow at the moment. Man, you know how to hook someone in and keep it moving. Can't wait to see where it goes from here. After that, I'm afraid my Margolin streak has to end for a couple of books. I have some books on my to-read pile that have been neglected and...

3. RE:This would be an excellent movie Posted 8/27/2009
Of the 6 books of Margolin's I've read so far, this is the one that most demands to be made into a movie.

4. RE:a real page turner Posted 8/27/2009

I really dig taller, thinner paperbacks. I don't know what it is, exactly. I have a bunch and prefer them to the shorter ones. Don't go looking for logic in this post, because you're going to have a hard time finding it.

7. RE:Lost Lake: very disappointed! Posted 8/21/2009
I don't what the heck Geocaos was smoking. If you can read Lost Lake and not love it, you've got to be smoking something. Probably crack.

Usually, typos and grammatical errors jump out at me. But I was so engrossed in Sleeping Beauty that I didn't notice a single one.

9. Perfect Epilogue Posted 8/21/2009
Just finished Sleeping Beauty. The book was great and it had a fantastic epilogue. Maxfield acts exactly like you'd expect a man who was willing to die rather than admit he was out of ideas would act. Once again, he's fooled himself into thinking he's the next Hemmingway. The last two lines were pit...
